Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Two buffer configurations, Per-VC buffer and FIFO buffer, are proposed to implement GFR service. We compared the two configurations by the throughput and fairness of TCP/IP data flow. With FIFO, TCP packets undergoes relatively larger delay, delay variation and packet loss than Per-VC. We calculated numerical throughtput, which agreed with experiental results.
