Abstract(in English) In this report, the extended security scheme for 5GHz High bit rate Wireless LAN based on IEEE 802.11 standard is introduced. The main feature of the sheme is that it adopts public key authentificaiton to support CUG (Closed User Group) services. Public key authentification makes it unnecessary to notify the secret authentification key of the mobile terminal to foreign networks. Therefore it becomes easier to establish encrypted connection in the remote network. Future usage for the proposed wireless LAN is also described.
