Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | This study evaluates the performance of a direct-sequence spread spectrum communication system which uses path-diversity based on a selection of M multiple paths.A set of n paths to be combined for diversity is selected from candidate paths in the order of instantaneous path S, N. Using a theoretically derived distribution function for this multiple selection path-diversity of n=2,the number of effective diversity branches is determined for a rectangular and exponential delay profile model. The performance of this communication system is also evaluated in terms of FSK as well as PSK error rate. |
