Abstract(in English) | A novel wavelength offset control(AWOC)circuit is presented to reduce the beat noise generated in the multi-terminal serial optical fiber link(MSOL)that superposes many optical signals from distributed laser diodes in an optical fiber.An experiment using an 800MHz signal transmission fiber link with AWOC achieves over 2OdB noise reduction.Applications of MSOL with AWOC in mobile radio communications are discussed. |
