Abstract(in English) In this paper,a high speed 2.4GHzband Wireless LAN modem using Multi-Code Direct Sequence(MCDS)Spread Spectrum moduration scheme is proposed.MCDS uses several codes to spread the Data.Selection of the spreading code is based on the incoming information,thereby allowing the symbol rate remain constant while increasing the information rate.We discuss the simulation results of MCDS system in a multipath environment and the improvement for multipath fading properties.Moreover,we discuss the measured performance of the developed proto type modem using MCDS.
