Fast Longcode Identification Circuit Making good use of MF for W-CDMA

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a fast longcode identification circuit algorithm requires no corrclators without MF for W-CDMA asynchronous cell site operation. The hardware experimental rcsults are also reported. The proposed circuit achieved fast longcode indentification by memorizing the received data into the shift-register on MF and employing a code generator which can gcnerate phase offseted code. We have confirmed the proposed circuit terminates the longcode identification in 770msec under the condition of 1path static, E_b/N_o=10dB and 128 kinds of logcode (four groups). Furthermore, the proposed circuit keeps the detection probability of 90% even in±0. 5ppm frequency offset.
