Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper investigates the performance of pilot symbol-assisted coherent adaptive array antenna diversity(PSA-CAAD)for W-CDMA in laboratory experiments. The experimental results showed that the null can be accurately generated toward the direction of the interfering users when the number of desired signal plus interfering users is smaller than the number of antenna elements for 2 and 4 antenna elements. It was also experimentally demonstrated that the PSA-CAAD is very effective in suppressing the interference from the high bit rate users who transmit high power compared to the space diversity.
