Traffic Design of Point to MultiPoint Broadband Wireless Access Systems

Abstract(in English) This paper carried out traffic design of point to multipoint broadband wireless access systems which offer public switching digital data services from 64k bps to a few Mbps per subscriber.Required information transmission capabilities per sector and required frequency bandwidth for a telecommunication carrier were obtained for each type of traffic, namely, stream type, tansaction type, and blook type on the basis of the japan MPT's local internal LMDS study report. Transmission speed varies so much by call by call that the usage rate of wireless circuits would be very low in the case of stream type traffic. In order to get high efficiency of frequency spectral, it is necessary for a system to transmit all type of traffic accodindg to its's gread of service.
