Theoretical Capacity Estimation Equation of SFH-TDMA system

Abstract(in English) In cellular communication system design, the most important issue is how to handle co-channel interference.It is already known several techniques such as, (1)interference level reduction by frequency reuse operation, (2)interfernce averaging technique which is known by DS-CDMA and (3)Interference avoidance in DCA (Dynamic Channel Assignment)scheme.On the other hand, SFH-TDMA can have receive CIR difference(or diversity)effect at each hopping which is called Interference Diversity Effect by frequency hopping which is done with different random pattern between each cell. In that case, by adequate coding, SFH-TDMA achieve Interference Averaging Effect which is identical to DS-CDMA's. Originally, TDMA scheme have uplink orthogonality, therefore it can be said that SFH-TDMA scheme is more promising technique than DS-CDMA. This paper shows theoretical consideration of Interference Diversity Effect in SFH-TDMA.
