Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An ARQ scheme for multi-carrier modulation systems based on packet combining is proposed. In multi-carrier modulation systems, the received signal quality of the individual sub-carriers is different due to frequency selective fading. In the proposed ARQ scheme, the adaptive data order rerrangement of the retransmitted packets is considered to achieve the more diversity gain with packet combining. The computer simulation results show its effectiveness in terms of the average packet transmission success probability. In addition, the comparison with the conventional partial packet reatransmission ARQ scheme is also considered. From the computer simulation results, it also turns out the advantage of the proposed ARQ scheme against the conventional one.
