Abstract(in English) In order to improve the efficiency of transmission for asymmetric traffic wireless multimedia communications, this paper presents a scheme called LAUL(Luxury Assistance by Up Link).The LAUL is a method to improve the performance of down link under heavy loads assisted by up link.To provide BS with a transmitting control information, the feedback signals for the propagation characteristics of down link are returned when the capacity of up link is allowable to its traffics.We evaluate its performance by simulations using an estimation method of the propagation path characteristics based on consecutive CRC error of ATM cells.The effect of improvement on throughput characteristic and successful ratio of data transmission is confirmed.
