Abstract(in English) We have proposed a system without handoff on terminals.We call the system RAMCS(Random Access Micro-Cellular System).In RAMCS we adopt random access protocols on uplink and broadcasting with TDMA on downlink.In this paper, we show that the influence of hidden terminal in RAMCS/CSMA of which uplink is based on CSMA.Hidden terminal is an inherent weak point in CSMA.However, it is cleared that the influence is reduced greatly with RAMCS/CSMA owing to cellular environment.And we examine cell size to reduce the influence of hidden terminal enough.From the viewpoint of both throughput performance and cost of base stations, we show that suitable cell size is 200-300[m].
