Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes an intelligent and autonomous radio resource management technique for multilayered cellular systems with different bandwidths not only to reduce the complexity of the centralized algorithms but also to cope with even spatially nonuniform traffic conditions. In the proposed system, wider bandwidth is assigned to the microcell system to support higher bit rate transmission than the macrocell system, and radio spectrum is adaptively and autonomously shared by both cellular systems using a channel partitioning technique to minimize total blocking rate.
