A Consideration of'Error-Correcting and Combining'Method in SR-chirp Scheme

Abstract(in English) SR-chirp is a spread spectrum scheme which maintain both anti-multipath and anti-jamming features even in low spreading-rate. In this paper, the'error-correcting and combining' method which simultaneously accomplish diversity-selection and error-correction based on error correcting code is proposed and applied to subband-selecting/combining in SR-chirp scheme. Proposed method, which is favorable for reduction of transmission delay, can effectively subdue transmission errors with small redundancy. By simulation and measurement, it is revealed that an extra gain more than the sum of each gain derived from selection or correction is obtained, and consequently, required E_b/N_o is confirmed to be reduced.
