BER improvement by adaptive transmitter power control for Rayleigh fading compensation

Abstract(in English) We introduce an ATPC technique that compensates Rayleigh fading under non-selective slow fading.The characteristics of the proposed ATPC are examined theoretically and experimentally.First, an expression for the average bit error rate as improved by the ATPC is derived.Next,laboratory test results are presented. Compared to conventional ATPC,the proposed ATPC reduces the mean transmitter power by 7 dB at a BER of 10^-3>.
