Abstract(in English) A novel analysis method of the intermodulation and noise power ratio of the amplifier has been developed.This analysis method based on measured single-tone power performance of the amplifier allows an accurate prediction of the multi-tone intermodulation(IM) and noise power ratio(NPR).IM and NPR depend greatly on the amplitude and phase distortion of the amplifier occurs in the vicinity of saturation points.It has been shown from the result of this analysis that the amplitude and phase distortion have to be improved up to the point 3dB higher than the average input power for IM and 9dB higher for NPR.In an application of this analysis method to the low distortion SSPA with the linearizer employing Si- BJTs,a good agreement between the calculated and measured results for IM and NPR has been obtained,which shows this analysis method would be a candidate for predicting the amplitude and phase distortion characteristics of the amplifier.
