Design and Fabrication of Dielectric Ceramics BPF Directly Connected to a Microstrip Line

Abstract(in English) A small-sized band pass filter is designed and fabricated based on a dielectric E-plane waveguide. Inductive strips are printed on the open surface of the waveguide to create cascaded resonators and to adjust the adjacent coupling.Measured values of resonant frequency and Coupling strength of resonators are combined with the standard filter design theory.Theoretical backgrounds for those values are also shown and the qualitative coincidence is obtained.
