Finite Element Analysis of Magnetostatic Volume Waves in a Two- Dimensionally Distributed Internal Magnetic Field.

Abstract(in English) Magnetostatic volume waves propagating in a YIG thin film with straight gaps are analyzed by the finite element method.This structure induces an inhomogeneous internal magnetic field,which makes the analysis quite complicated.The coupling through the gaps is studied to design a bandpass filter.It is found that the coupling is weaker than in the case of homogeneous assumption when the gap is narrower,and the opposite is true when it is broader. Transmission characteristics of two-port resonators are also calculated for various parameters.
