Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper treats a microstrip line with an optically-tunable stub. The impedance of the stub can be changed with the optical injection of carriers in the silicon substrate through laser light. A prototype device is fabricated on a silicon substrate and the transmission and reflection characteristics of microwaves are measured with respect to laser light. The characteristics of the line are numerically estimated with respect to the induced carrier density. It is also shown that the input impedance of the line can be significantly tuned by the illuminating light.
