Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Automatic transmit power control(ATPC)is intended to keep received signal level constant. It can decrease influence of cochannel- or adjacent-channel interference resulting in increase of frequency use efficiency of a mobile communication system. When we use ATPC in mobile communicatin channel, where fast fading may happen,it is important how to follow the fast fading. For this purpose this paper proposes a new method for ATPC.In this method received signal is demodulated into quadrature signal components, and prediction is made on these components.Computer simulation experiments showed improved performance with the method. In addition to this,we propose an algorithm where the prediction control never follow too deeply the fading. With this algorithm we can decrease probability that received signal becomes larger than a target value due to prediction error at the base station.
