Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A FH-SS random access system with CPM-differential detection is proposed for wireless Local Area Network applications. It has been difficult to maintain phase coherence among frequencies of hopped signals in FH-SS system and it has been notable especially in the FSK modulation. We try to improve detection ability of the FH-SS signal by adopting QPTM with the differential detection and an adaptive channel estimation technique. A kind of one coincidence code is applied for CDMA access and transmission characteristics are analyzed under the condition of up to four users accessing simultaneously in a random timing. This terminal could be used with an moving state in a wireless LAN system, then BERs are clarified also in a slow fading environment and fast fading conditions with the Doppler frequency about up to 10Hz.
