Abstract(in English) The Comparison between effects of trellis-coded modulation and error-correcting code on performance of co-channel interference cancellers for TDMA mobile radio systems is presented. Interference cancellers can improve spectrum efficiency, especially for non-linear interference cancellers over frequency-selective fading channel. However, for this type of canceller, the performance is not improved under Nakagami-Rice fading channel and static channel, which can be expected originally. Then, in this paper, two types of non-linear canceller are investigated and effects of trellis-coded modulation and error-correcting code are compared. In addition, the influence of timing offset between desired signal and co-channel interference is studied.
