Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | This paper proposes a symbol rate and modulation level controlled adaptive modulation system using a novel variable symbol rate transmission technique. In this system, the lower symbol rate is equivalently achieved by transmitting the identical symbols consecutively at the highest symbol rate to reduce the complexity of the transceiver. Computer simulation confirms that the proposed system can achieve high bit rate transmission with high quality in both flat Rayleigh and frequency selective fading environments. |
