Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Analysis of wide-area cellular slotted ALOHA networks with multiple base stations is presented. The throughput of a cellular slotted ALOHA network for various cell-cluster. sizes is assessed; taking account of contending packets in a cell and co-channel interference packets from the other cells. We deal with two cases ; time-slot synchronization systems and time-slot synchronization systems among cells. Analytical and numerical results show that, the optimal cell-cluster size should be 1, irrespective of a spatial distribution of traffic in the network. They also show that, in the system of cell-cluster size l time-slot synchronization among cells is of importance.
