Adaptive Algorithms for Constrained Minimum Output Power Criteria and Its Performance in Interference Cancellers

Abstract(in English) This paper theoretically analyzes characteristics of Orthogonializing Method Filter (OMF) as an example of a blind linear adaptive interference canceler. The analysis derived adaptive algorithms with the minimum output power criteria under a constraint condition, and also derived expressions of SINR and output power of the convergent state. First, operation principle and its cost function with constraint for controlling OMF coefficients are described. From that cost function, adaptive algorithms of RLS and LMS types are derived by Newton method with Lagrange multiplies. Next cancel characteristics in the convergent state are analyzed. The results show the dependences of output power and SINR upon steering vector, and correlation metrix measurement error.
