Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) (4,12) Circular-Signal-Set constellation, the inner ring having 4 signal points and the outer having 12 points, is presented for 16APSK. Its symbol error rate performance is improved in coherent detection over AWGN (Additive White Gaussian Noise) channel, but it is still poor over Rayleigh fading channel. This paper proposes multiple-symbol amplitude detection using MAP (Maximum A Posteriori probability) estimation to improve its Performance and shows the evaluation over Rayleigh fading by the computer simulation results.
