Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Pilot symbol-assisted coherent adaptive diversity (PSA-CAD) was proposed for DS-CDMA mobile radio. In this paper, the capacity performance of the DS-CDMA reverse link using the PSA-CAD is investigated by computer simulation, compared to the space diversity reception and to the sectored antennas reception. The simulation results demonstrates that the PSA-CAD is effective in increasing capacity and in suppressing the interference of high bit rate (high transmit power) users.
