Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes an adaptive array base station in order to reduce co-channel interference. The authors evaluated characteristics of SIR and SINR by computer simulation in case that signals arrived from multiple directions. As a result, the diversity gain was observed with the total number of incidents increasing even when the number of antenna elements was equal to one of incidents. The diversity gain was obtained when antenna elements were more than total incidents. In case of mobile station distributed equally within cell, 5% value of average SINR in downlink reached at about 16.3 dB when the cluster size was one. However, the severe degradation was caused by Rayleigh fading difference between uplink and downlink.
