Abstract(in English) The forward link capacity of DS-CDMA cellular system with the SIR-based transmit power control (TPC) using outer loop which control the target SIR in order to satisfy the required frame error rate is evaluated by computer simulation. It is demonstrated that the capacity with the TPC is about 2 times greater than that without TPC.
