A Study on the Performance of DS/CDMA System under Microwave Oven Interference Environment

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we investigate the effect of microwave oven interference on the performance of DS/CDMA system. At first, using the microwave oven interference measurement result, the statistical characteristics of the interference is studied, and then the performance of DS/CDMA system under microwave oven interference environment is evaluated. The evaluation result indicates that the presence of microwave oven interference significantly degrades the performance of DS/CDMA system. Moreover, we propose the receivers of DS/CDMA system for microwave oven interference environment and show the performance improvement achieved by using these proposed receivers.
