| Abstract(in English) | The service of PHS (Personal Handy-phone System) started in 1995 in Japan. The advantage of PHS is widely recognized, and recently PHS is supplying 32kbps Data Communication. But now the increment of users is sutulated. and PHS operators are looking for the service improvement. The difference between ordinal Handy Phone and PHS is the size of service area. PHS requires frequent hand-off from one to another base station because of its small service area. It makes inconvinient communication in vehiclc. And PHS can not supply stable calls inside the building. In this paper. the distributed antenna system is proposed. which supports the wide service area like a passageway in building by cascading a lot of distributed antennas. |
