Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a novel coherent detection method which can reduce the estimation error due to Gaussian noise in communication systems where pilot symbol assisted modulation is employed to compensate Rician fading distortion. In proposed method, the weighted average function of the phase distortion detected by pilot symbols and the moving average function of the phase error detected by data symbols are introduced in addition to a conventional interpolation scheme of either Wiener interpolation or linear interpolation. Computer simulation is done to evaluate the BER performance on Rician fading channel and Gaussian channel, and confirm the effect of the proposed method.
