Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | It is known that cycle slip occurs in digital transmission channels under frequency selective fading. Cycle slip causes a burst error by symbol deletion or insertion. In this paper, we reconsider improved Viterbi decoding scheme for symbol deletions/insertions. The scheme requires four parallel trellises which is connected for cyclic construction each other. It can be adapted to plural cycle slips, and its complexity is not depend on the number of slipped symbols. |
