Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a complexity reduced decision feedback equalizer to achieve high bit rate transmission in frequency selective fading environment. To reduce the number of taps of the adaptive equalizer, the proposed system estimates the delay profile, and cansels out the delayed waves with their delay time of more than a certain symbol duration. Then the delayed waves with its delay time of less than the duration are combined by the adaptive equalizer. Computer simulation confirms that the proposed adaptive equalizer can achieve high transmission quality with simple algorithm even though the maximum delay time of delayed wave of 20 symbol duration.
