A Study on Updating Algorithms for Layered Array Antennas

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes layered array antennas of which element antennas are adaptive array antennas. This proposed system is possible to make verious antenna patterns to get higher performance of coveragence speed and that of suppressing interference by change of updating algorithms. Compared this proposed array antenna with usual array antenna, this proposed array antenna has an advantage for fast time-varying channel in mobile communications. Computer simulation shows the improvement of proposed array antennas in the performance of convergence speed and that of suppresing interference.
