Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have proposed pilot-symbols assisted matched filter based RAKE receiver with two-stage mutipath selection threshold in order to accurately select multipaths with higher signal-to-interference plus noise ratio (SINR) for RAKE combining for wideband DS-CDMA. It is shown that the proposed path-search with two-stage multipath selection threshold is effective in selecting the multipaths with higher SINR, thereby improving the BER performance of the RAKE receiver. The simulation results also show that the optimum threshold values can be fixed regardless of adaptive transmit power control, anntena diversity, multiple access interference distribution, and delay profile model.
