Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The future mobile communication systems such as FPLMTS and ATM wireless LAN will be required to serve various media not only voice but data and images. Such a multi-media communication system has to consider various desired qualities and various transmission rates and so on. In this paper, we propose an up-link transmitter power control method considering the desired qualities and the priorities of media, in which the required-received-power is controlled to minimize an evaluation function that is weighted by coefficients corresponding to the priorities of media. We have evaluated the quality deteriorating rate for the proposed method through the traffic simulations. As a result, it is clarified that the proposed method can control the desired-received power properly to keep the desired qualities according to the priorities to be set.
