Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a new Mobile Location, Moving Direction, Moving Speed (M-L.D.S.) detection scheme in cellular systems and its application for mobile communication network based on hierarchical cell structures. In this scheme, each adjacent radio base station detects a carrier frequency including a doppler frequency caused by a moving of the mobile station. Consequently, the network can detect the M-L.D.S., according to the information of the location map and the doppler frequency. Once the network obtains the M-L.D.S. data, it is anticipated that this detection scheme will be applicable to versatile mobile network management technology. This proposed scheme is suitable especially tor Inter-Hierarchical-cell-Handover and improvement in Spectral Efficiency.
