Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose the interference canceller for optical synchronous M-ary frequency sift keying (FSK) signaling with optical code division multiple access (CDMA) system. The interference canceller employs one of the modified prime sequence codes in one users in the same group. We analyze the bit error rate (BER) of the M-ary FSK/CDMA system with and without interference canceller. In our analysis, Poisson effect of the photodetection process are considered. We compare the performance of the FSK/CDMA system with interference canceller to that of the FSK/CDMA system without interference canceller. We show that the proposed system has better performance than optical synchronous FSK/CDMA systems without canceller. Furthermore, we show that the proposed system is effective to alleviate the error floor.
