Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a fast CIR-based open-loop power control scheme for the reverse link DS/CDMA cellular system to support high capacity wireless multimedia communication systems that includes both long-holding-time media such as voice as well as the short-holding-time media such as the e-mail message. Computer simulations confirms that the proposed scheme can achieve shorter message delay-time than the conventional scheme without degrading so much the system capacity of the long-holding-time media, especially when the average message length of the short-holding-time media become s short.
