Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An adaptive receiver is a promising technique for DS/CDMA systems, which combats the multiuser interference noise by successively renewing despreading code sequences. There exists, however, such a problem that it requires a considerable convergence time under certain interference noise conditions, and some efforts have been paid for improving it. This paper proposes all adaptive receiver scheme using linear combinations of received vectors, which greatly improves convergence time. Specifically, in this scheme adaptive processing is carried out not only to the current received vector but also to certain number of vectors generated by linear combinations of current and some past received vectors, which works as if adaptive processing is made to such received vectors that involves half of the interferers on the average, and it makes a great improvement of convergence time. The effectiveness of the scheme is confirmed by showing convergence characteristics when applying it to three interference noise models.
