Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Equalization of delay distortion is one of the most fundamental and most difficult problems in radio communications. There has been the time-domain method, in which equalization is performed by convolution of the received waveform and inverse characteristics of the propagation path. In this paper, the author presents the frequency-domain method, in which equalization is performed by deconvolution of the received waveform and transfer function of the propagation path. The frequency-domain method is expected to give more acurate and prompter equalization, since it is based upon the simple division of complex numbers.
