Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Co-channel interference is a major deteriorating factor limiting the capacity of mobile communication systems. To mitigate the effect of the interference, a kind of nonlinear interference canceller named trellis-coded co-channel interference canceller(TCC) has been proposed. In TCC the trellis-coded modulation(TCM) is introduced to both the desired signal and the interference signal which enhances the cancelling performance. In this paper, we propose a TCC coding scheme. Using this coding scheme, the received signal sequence can be uniquely split into the desired signal and the interference signal. The uniquely decodability of the proposed code is proved theoretically and confirmed by computer simulations.
