Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes and discusses empirical line-of-sight propagation-delay models for microcellular mobile communications systems in which the base station's antenna is low. Measurements were performed in the center of Tokyo, using the 2.6-GHz band. Power delay profiles and instantaneous complex delay profiles were obtained. A model for determining the delay spread by means of path length, a model for determining the shape of delay profiles, and a model for determining instantaneous fluctuations for delayed waves are proposed in this paper. Using these models, it was possible to obtain instantaneous delay profiles from the distance between base station and mobile station.
