Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper Describes feasibility study of radio CDMA system for data communication between a base station and fixed terminals located on line-of-sight paths in urban area. Horn antennas are assumed for in base station and parabola antennas are assumed for subscriber terminals. Down-links interference for a terminal at sector edge is elminated by using directional-null antenna in base station. Estimated tolerance for synchronization error suggests the feasibility of the system. DUR in the presence of multipath effects shows that the system is feasible for data rates up to 6.3Mbps with chip ratio of 32.
