Abstract(in English) CAC (Connection Admission Control) has been studied as one of the most important functions in ATM networks. CAC mechanisms are classified into a parametoric, or non-parametric approach. However, both approaches have some disadvantages. Generally, the parametric approach must invoke the complicated calculations to analyze mathematical models. This report proposes the simplified mechanism which does not need the complicated calculations in the parametric approach.
