Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) It is important to enhance the capacity of multiple access control to meet the increasing demands in mobile communications. As one of the reservation-based random access protocols in cellular systems, packet reservation multiple access(PRMA) has been proposed in which the statistical talk-spurt multiplexing is incorporated effectively. In this paper, two algorithms determining the permission probability of PRMA, adaptively according to either the co-channel interference or the distance of terminal from its base station, were proposed. Computer simulations for a voice traffic show that the proposed algorithms outperform the conventional algorithm with a fixed permission probability.
