Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Lately, personal mobile speech communications have grown widely, depending on progresses in the cellular telephones. However, it is difficult to utilize broad band wireless channel due to lack of frequency resource. Therefore, the speech coding techniques which can transmit voice data efficiency with low bit-rate channel, is required in mobile communication fields. In this study, we propose very low bit-rate speech transmission scheme. We had some experiments in search of the amount of transmission data and the quality of voice with alteration of speech-analysis parameters. We also study speech analysis parameters to achive best speech quality.
