Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we investigate the problem how to construct integer codes capable of correcting any single error io the set of {±1, ±t, ... ±t^} and generalize our results to obtain (±e_1, ±e_2,...,±e_s) single error correctable codes where e_i's are differenct elements in Z_A. Moreover, we present some examples of M-QAM constellation coded by integer codes. The bit error probability (BEP) of coded 16-,32-, and 64-QAM have been obtained. Comparison of BEP versus signal-to-noise ratio between uncoded and coded M-QAM shows that under the same level of BEP, the SN ratio of integer coded modulation is much less than 1/2 of that of uncoded one.
