Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report treats a lossless representation for digital gray images, which is composed of pixels with integer tone values, using contractive mapping with no unclear tone values. Since the pixel in which the tone value is completely unknown is not used, it is possible to easily know decoded value at the encoding side, and it is utilized for the encoding. Since, even at the decoding side, tone values which should decode are obtained immediately, high-speed decoding is possible. This method can be easily applied to conventional technique of lossless fractal representations and lossy fractal representations.
